Danksharding: An Auspicious Development of Ethereum Roadmap

An EIP (Ethereum Improvement Proposal) called Proto-Danksharding aims to put the essential ideas into practice and establish the foundation for danksharding. Blob-carrying transactions, a novel transaction type, are the major component of EIP-4844. However, validators and clients must still download the whole contents of the blobs to use Proto-Danksharding. As a result, bandwidth is capped at 1 MB per slot. It still offers possibilities for large scaling increases, though.
